Job description
Responsibilities
  1. Support weekly, monthly and annual finance routines by compiling, validating and preparing financial data for submission to key stakeholders.
  2. Liaise effectively with various station teams to gather required information and provide guidance or recommendations as needed.
  3. Review and analyse financial data submitted by stations, identifying irregularities or unusual trends.
  4. Coordinate month‑end closing activities by engaging with station teams, tracking deadlines and ensuring timely review of financial reports.
  5. Act as a key communication bridge between local stations and the regional FP&A team, addressing queries and facilitating efficient resolution of issues.
  6. Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures through regular quality checks across all stations.
  7. Coordinate and consolidate audit‑related activities for each station, monitoring progress and ensuring timely completion.
  8. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, including raising inquiries and collecting feedback from station teams.
  9. Manage and coordinate responses to Internal Audit (IA) or Corporate Audit queries, reviewing submissions and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  10. Perform other ad‑hoc assignments as required.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting or a related discipline, providing a solid foundation in accounting principles and practices.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting; audit experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting requirements and best practices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams across multiple locations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage complex tasks and collaborate efficiently within team environments.
  • Highly meticulous, well‑organised and able to consistently meet tight reporting deadlines.
  • Prior experience supporting financial operations across multiple subsidiaries or jurisdictions is preferred.
