Job summary

A financial services company in Singapore is seeking a skilled finance professional to oversee monthly financial reporting across regional offices. You will lead a team of accountants to ensure compliance with accounting standards and governance. Job description

Oversee monthly financial reporting across our regional offices. In this role, you will lead and guide accountants from various countries, ensure consistency in complying with accounting standards, and strengthen financial governance across the region. You will also be required to travel to our regional offices to provide on-site support, review processes, and ensure the team meets reporting expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and review monthly financial closing and reporting for multiple regional entities.
  • Lead, supervise, and provide guidance to regional finance team members who report to you for monthly reporting matters.
  • Conduct regular reviews—both remotely and on-site—of accounting processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency across the region.
  • Prepare financial reports, management accounts, variance analysis, and consolidation support as required.
  • Drive process improvements, standardisation of workflows, and strengthen internal controls across regional offices.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring financial transactions.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and training for regional accountants to ensure they meet group expectations.
  • Travel to regional offices to perform reviews, support the team, and ensure operational alignment.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on accounting experience, preferably in a regional or multi‑entity environment.
  • Strong understanding of month‑end closing, reporting requirements, and accounting standards.
  • Proven ability to supervise or lead team members (experience across borders is an advantage).
  • Willing to travel to regional offices when required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams across different countries.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting systems.
  • Self‑driven, organised, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin.
