We are seeking a Regional Account Director to be based in Singapore to lead one of our largest and most high profile Investment Banking accounts, for the APAC region.
As a senior leader the successful candidate will be responsible for owning and managing the strategic partnership with the regional client, the growth of the APAC business and successful collaboration with the global account lead.
The role requires significant client and internal stakeholder management and ability to grow the business.
Specific areas of responsibility
- Ownership and responsibility for the success of the APAC portion of a large and complex global account, with multiple services in multiple countries, under multiple contracts
- Creating and implementing a strategy for continuous improvement and growth
- Accountability for financial performance against set targets and overall service delivery against operational and business targets, including setting of budgets and ongoing management of P&L
- Leadership for APAC in RFPs, contract renewals and business growth initiatives
- Creating and delivering against strategic client account plans; identifying growth opportunities and effective cost management
- Understanding the value of Williams Lea’s services and technology offerings; being able to compellingly communicate them to the client and regional Williams Lea team
- Ownership and management of senior client relationships and overall client engagement and satisfaction
- Relationship building, stakeholder management and effective communication at all levels within the client structure, and internally at Williams Lea, local, regional and global levels
- Ensuring the objectives of the business and the expectations of the client are frequently exceeded
- Effective communication and partnership with the Global Business Director to ensure global account alignment in operations, initiatives, growth and strategy
- Management of the Singapore-based Regional Operations Manager to ensure:
- the success of multiple account managers based at client premises across the region
- operational excellence is proactively driven and maintained, and exceeds client requirements
- the overall regional team structure is always appropriate for the service delivery and the client requirements
- succession planning to meet the future needs of the account and to contribute to the wider Williams Lea organisational planning
- adherence to contracts, SLAs and commercial obligations at all times
Professional experience and skills required
- Understanding of tech-enabled Business Process Outsourcing
- Successful senior relationship management, strategic thinking and influencing experience
- Compelling presentation skills
- Demonstrable business growth capability and experience
- Significant experience working with Investment Banking clients or in the Financial Institution industry
- Operational excellence background
- Project management experience
- Strong multi-cultural leadership, management and coaching with highly effective communication skills
- Pricing and P&L ownership experience
