Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for managing tenders and ensuring timely submission of required documents. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and have at least 2 years of relevant experience in the M&E construction industry. Responsibilities include assisting in tender preparation, collating price comparisons, and preparing presentation materials. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for this role.

  • Assist Tender/Contract Manager in tender preparation.

  • Prepare presentation slides for tender interviews.

Quantity Surveyor -Tenders (/Toa Payoh/5 days)
Responsibilities
  • Assist Tender/ Contract Manager in preparation and submission of Tenders
  • List the scope of work and commercial requirements in order to determine the risks of the project
  • Create Tender File in order to have proper tender management tracking and monitoring
  • Prepare and follow‑up on the Request for Quotations to suppliers/ sub‑cons in order to ensure tender costing and technical data to be submitted on time
  • Take off Bill of Quantities from the Electrical, ACMV, Fire Protection and Architectural drawings
  • Collate price comparison, costing summary and technical proposal in order to prepare tender submission
  • Study the addendum and/or corrigendum documents and update costing summary with technical proposal accordingly
  • Prepare and update tender submission documents on time
  • Maintain relevant documentation in an orderly and proper manner
  • Prepare presentation slides necessary for the tender interviews
  • Any other works/duties that are assigned by Superior
Requirements
  • Possess minimum Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 2years & above of related experience in M&E construction industry
  • Independent, responsible & meticulous
