He has contributed to continuing education for the PE Board, Singapore, and is Treasurer of the Singapore Concrete Institute. He is also a Chartered Management Accountant, UK.

Job Summary

Lead the establishment and management of the Quantity Surveying (QS) section to deliver precise cost estimation, contract documentation, and tender preparation for engineering projects. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate measurement, cost control, and contract administration, supporting site operations to drive project success.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the setup and management of the Quantity Surveying section to support engineering project delivery
  • Prepare detailed bills of quantities, contract specifications, and documentation for bidding and execution phases in collaboration with project teams
  • Implement accurate measurement and cost estimation processes to support tender and quotation submissions
  • Administer project documentation related to tender preparation, evaluation of claims, and contract management to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Provide timely support to site teams by managing variation orders (VOs), progress claims, and related contract matters to facilitate smooth project execution
  • Coordinate site activities among subcontractors and suppliers to optimize workflow and maintain project schedules
  • Utilize MS Office and Excel to produce precise reports and documentation supporting quantity surveying functions
  • Apply knowledge of AutoCAD to interpret project drawings and enhance quantity surveying accuracy (preferred)
