Job summary

A construction services company in Singapore is seeking a QA/QC Specialist to implement quality assurance and control systems on site. The successful candidate will develop quality plans and procedures, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Ideal applicants will have at least 3 years of construction site experience and familiarity with QA/QC methods, especially in LTA projects. This role is essential for maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Job description

Responsibility

• Implementing the QA/QC system to ensure quality targets are achieved
• Develop Project quality plans, project QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), etc. basing the project requirements
• Conduct briefing in line with the quality standards and good practices
• Carry out in-process checks with the quality standards and good practices
• Monitor and update schedule and status of CONQUAS / QUALITY assessment or any other given award(s)
• Liaise with the relevant authorities on the submission status
• Liaise and Coordinate closely with Site Project Managers and representatives (Structural, Architectural, Civil, etc.)
• To plan, conduct and monitor the project(s)’ in-process quality inspections.
• To prepare, issue and monitor the closing of quality inspection reports.
• To ensure proper record keeping of all QA/QC documents (i.e. inspections records, reports, authority documents etc.)
• Maintains good documentation.
• Conducts stage wise inspections like material/fit up/visual/bolt tightening/painting for fabrication and erection works.
• Prepares welding procedure specification and conduct welder qualification tests.
• Prepares quality control procedures and repair procedures for welding.
