Job description

Enterprise Products team is seeking an experienced, insightful and forward-thinking Quality Assurance Engineering Lead focused on enhancing coverage and effectiveness across our portfolio of products. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to develop, facilitate and oversee sound quality assurance processes in support of the Enterprise Products organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a QA engineer, partnering with and influencing engineering teams, managing complex programs, strategic and tactical execution of operational processes, a good understanding of project management in critical environments, and good working knowledge of an Enterprise Engineering organization.

Responsibilities

• Implement a quality engineering process that enables rapid product delivery with high confidence
• Building on existing and creating new automation strategies to enable and drive Engineering teams across Meta to build automation at scale
• Develop test strategies for business critical projects to ensure product correctness before launch
• Establish and drive the adoption of quality metrics that help measure test effectiveness, efficiency, and overall quality of product
• Lead the improvement and implementation of best practices, methodologies, and tooling to meet quality coverage needs for products
• Be the advocate for testability, drive best engineering practices and defect prevention
• Identify gaps and opportunities to improve quality
• Support a team of vendor testers to conduct black box testing

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience of industry standard test automation tools and automation frameworks
• 6+ years of quality engineering and/or test engineering experience
• Experience implementing and maintaining quality test automation for both mobile and web applications
• Experience managing black box testing with vendor testers

• Knowledge of the how to use data to improve product quality
• Experience with Quality Assurance process and methodologies
• Experience working across multiple cross functional engineering teams globally
• Experience being creative and having initiative to improve product quality coverage and effectiveness

• Experience in project management approaches, tools and phases of a project life cycle
