JOB PURPOSE
To liaise with customer claims, and solve quality problems and perform FAE/FAI & approve on new products/parts evaluation and judgment related to Avionics products.
NATURE & SCOPE
- Perform first article evaluation (FAE/FAI) and on new parts/products that are newly manufactured.
- Conduct shipping judgement meeting for first-time manufactured and shipped-out products.
- Handle quality claims from customers through corrective action request (CAR/NCR): evaluate, verify and disseminate information to respective departments.
- Manage claims to ensure root causes are analyzed and effective corrective/preventive action are being taken. Ensure prompt follow-up and replies on claims.
- Revise department‘s work standard according to job-flow changes.
- Conducts process audits according to schedule.
- Assist production lines on solving quality matters; discuss and feedback on any improvement.
- Provide engineering support and advice to other members.
- Coordinate monthly quality meeting.
- Supervise subordinate.
- The above mentioned job scope is for but not limiting to avionics related product activities.
- Perform other job duties as and when request upon.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Duly judge and inspect that first-time manufactured products/parts are produced with accordance to standard requirements and certify as fit for shipment.
- Promptly evaluate and disseminate to respective departments on claims from customers, especially dead on arrival (DOA).
- Promptly provide support to production lines/related departments on quality matters.
