Job Scope:

  • Ensure all construction and installation activities are completed before system commissioning.
  • Plan and deploy workers to meet the commissioning schedule efficiently.
  • Prepare procedures and guidelines for systematic commissioning and equipment start-up.
  • Coordinate commissioning activities between the company and OEMs, ensuring contractual compliance.
  • Identify, report, and resolve operational issues with machinery and equipment.
  • Supervise on-site commissioning and coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintain detailed commissioning records, including site observations, testing processes, and checklists.
  • Track progress through HAT meetings and attend client progress meetings to close outstanding issues.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, risk assessments (RA), and on-site protocols.
  • Oversee proper housekeeping, tools, and equipment safety and efficiency.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving commissioning or equipment malfunctions.
  • Support procurement of special tools and equipment needed for commissioning.
  • Conduct weekly safety briefings for supervisors and workers to ensure a safe work environment.

Job Requirement:

  • Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Structural, Marine, Electrical, Electronics, or related offshore/electrical studies.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role/ industry is advantageous.
  • Candidates with no experience may be considered for junior roles.
  • Ability to read and interpret marine, electrical, and automation system schematics and arrangement drawings.
  • Understanding of marine, electrical, and automation systems’ operational requirements.
