Job Description
  • Plan and manage procurement of raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, and others based on production forecasts and inventory levels.
  • Issue and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels to support continuous operations.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, particularly for chemical products, ensuring quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure all purchases comply with industry regulations (e.g., REACH, SDS, local hazardous goods regulations).
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, warehouse, and quality teams to ensure materials meet technical and safety specifications.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of chemical market trends, pricing, lead times, and supply risks.
  • Monitor supplier performance and work with vendors to resolve delivery issues, non-conformities, or quality concerns.
  • Manage documentation related to chemical procurement, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS), COAs, and regulatory certificates.
  • Support internal and external audits related to procurement and material traceability.
  • Participate in cost-reduction projects, supplier negotiations, and risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
