We are looking for international thinking and dynamic young professionals to join our regional media relations team. Responsibilities:
  • Engage with the clients to develop communications programmes and then manage the day-to-day contact to make sure we deliver on these approved and agreed quarterly communications plans
  • Monitor the media for the latest news trends, trending stories and content relevant to the business, client business and engagement.
  • Develop, build and maintain great relationships with the media (press, broadcast, blogger, online) and influencers
  • Research and develop original news releases or adapt corporate releases and other items for local distribution
  • Follow up on media releases to secure coverage, set up interviews and secure opportunities for content placement
  • Fly the flag for our reputation and position within the influencer and media audience as a smart-thinking company who understands their needs
  • Measure and report pro-actively the results in support of the client engagement plan
  • Identify key hot topics within the social media, blogosphere that may enhance the client’s business or Priority’s ongoing business.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A diploma or degree in business studies, public relations, communications, or journalism
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a communications role either in-house or with an agency
  • Multi-lingual candidates are preferred and excellent English is a must-have
  • Customer-focused attitude and aable to work across time zones (US and Europe) and cultures
  • Self-driven and disciplined making you a great team player with lots of initiative.
  • Able to work independently and remotely is super critical as clients are mostly US and European organisations based out of Singapore with campaigns executed across the region.
  • Results oriented as you and the whole team will be measured on key performance metrics.
  • Multinational experience and a keen understanding of the business environment is a plus.
