Job summary

A leading retail project management firm based in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to handle site planning and execution. You will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, managing on-site construction, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing documentation. The ideal candidate should possess a Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or a related field, and at least 1-2 years of relevant project management experience. This position may require after-hours work in retail environments.

Job description
1. Project Planning & Coordination
  • Develop project timelines, milestones, and work schedules.
  • Coordinate with designers, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Conduct site assessments and review drawings prior to project commencement.
2. Site Supervision & Execution
  • Oversee on-site construction, renovation, and installation works.
  • Ensure work adheres to design specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Manage after-hours site work, particularly for retail environments.
3. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
  • Liaise with landlords, mall management, government agencies, and relevant authorities for approvals and submissions.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers on delivery schedules, workmanship, and troubleshooting.
4. Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with mall guidelines, building codes, and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to uphold workmanship quality.
  • Manage documentation, permits, and regulatory submissions.
5. Issue Resolution
  • Identify potential risks or obstacles and implement effective solutions.
  • Address site issues promptly to prevent delays.
6. Reporting & Documentation
  • Provide regular project progress reports and updates to management and clients.
  • Prepare handover documents and ensure all project records are properly maintained.
Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architectural and/or Project Management Preferred, those with relevant experiences could apply too.

Able to undertake Retail Project hours; which most of time will only commence after retail hours.

Minimum 1-2 years in a Project Management Capacities.

Familiar with Project Submission to Government Agencies, Landlord, Mall Management Agents, etc.
