Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and deliver projects (e.g., firmware upgrades, AEP enhancements, labelling system improvements, printer utility tools) within scope, time, and resources.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
- Ensure adherence to quality gates and compliance with internal standards.
- Collaborate with development, Quality Assurance, and product teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage dependencies and resolve escalations promptly.
- Implement project management best practices, templates, and dashboards for visibility.
- Coach and guide junior project managers to build team capability.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively and ensure succession readiness.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Lead Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coach team members on Scrum principles and ceremonies.
- Manage and maintain Jira backlog tickets, ensuring clarity and prioritization with product managers and developers.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in software development.
- Professional certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum Master) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana).
- Excellent risk management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
