Job summary

A multinational electronics company in Singapore is seeking an Electronic Assembly Technician to assemble and install electronic components according to customer requirements. The role involves following detailed build instructions, documenting actions, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and may involve travel.

Job Summary

Assembles and installs a variety of electronic components per customer requirements as defined in build instructions.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Unpacks (post inbound de-trash), performs serial number capture, labeling, repack and other manufacturing preparation and finishing duties as required.
  • Performs simple assembly of various sub-assemblies.
  • Follows detailed build instructions, best practices and ISO procedures.
  • Documents actions by completing production electronic stamp offs.
  • Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.
  • Updates and maintains electronic and hard copy records and/or files as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Performs functions semi-routine in nature and recognizes the need for occasional alternative solutions.
  • Work is performed independently, with minimal supervision. Able to establish priorities and manage time to complete work.
  • Collaboration with other departments or teams may be required to perform role. May frequently respond to requests from others, internally or externally.
  • Ability to understand and interpret written and oral procedures in English. Bilingual in Mandarin tunning a plus.
  • Impact of decisions may affect the department. Errors may result in loss of time, resources and/or customer satisfaction.
