Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with astrong background in the plastics or polymer manufacturing industry. This rolewill be responsible for overseeing 24/7 high-volume production operations, ensuring manufacturing excellence, and driving continuous improvementinitiatives to meet business objectives. You will lead a team of productionoperators, and technical support staff, ensuring alignment across departmentsand delivering products to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee end-to-end plastics manufacturing workflows,including extrusion, machining, and assembly.
  • Monitor KPIs such as output, yield, scrap rate, andcycle times, and implement actions to address performance gaps.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage production supervisors, technicians, and operators across multiple shifts.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, andcontinuous improvement.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or otherimprovement methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improveproduct quality.
  • Work closely with supply chain, maintenance, process, and quality departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality and industrystandards.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for capacityexpansion, new technology adoption, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Liaise with regional and international teams wherenecessary.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, Chemical,Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ production or manufacturingexperience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Polymer and plasticsindustry experience preferred.
  • Proven track record in plastics, polymers, or compositemanufacturing.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people managementskills.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and otherprocess improvement tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, andproblem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin preferred to effectivelycommunicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
