Role Summary
We are looking for a Product Manager with strong experience in product planning and market strategy within the cosmetics or FMCG industry. This role is responsible for end-to-end product lifecycle management, from market research and sourcing to pricing, profitability, and product performance. Lead product ownership from strategy to launch in a fast-growing K-Beauty trading company
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and identify consumer trends for product strategy
- Plan, source, and develop new cosmetic products aligned with brand direction and business growth
- Manage vendor negotiation, supplier quality assessment, and product documentation
- Define pricing strategy based on cost structure, competitor benchmarking, and margin expectations
- Lead product launch processes, including demand forecasting and promotion coordination
- Track product performance (sell-in / sell-through) and conduct profitability analysis
- Manage SKU lifecycle: new product introduction → performance review → discontinuation
- Collaborate with marketing, logistics, finance, and trading teams for seamless business execution
- Ensure regulatory compliance for cosmetic products sold in Singapore (product notification, etc.)
- Propose continuous improvements in product assortment and category strategy
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG product planning
- Strong understanding of product economics (costing, pricing, margin, volume mix)
- Experience in sourcing manufacturers or ODM/OEM coordination (Korea/China experience is a plus)
- Solid analytical skills and Excel proficiency
- Able to communicate with suppliers, HQ, and internal teams independently
- Proactive and business-driven mindset
- Korean or Chinese language ability is an advantage for cross-border communication
