A leading food and beverage company in Singapore is seeking a Procurement Executive to support the Procurement Manager in daily procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement within the F&B industry, a strong track record in cost and vendor management, and must be organized and proactive. This role involves vendor screening, stock monitoring, and liaising with restaurant teams.

Overview

The Procurement Executive is responsible for supporting the Procurement Manager in carrying out the day-to-day procurement activities and all procurement execution for the company.

Responsibilities
  • Support Procurement Manager in all matters relating to purchasing, which includes but not limited to stock monitoring, stock replenishment, quality control, handling disputes e.g. quantity differences, damaged or expired products).
  • Perform vendor screening, supply market research and analytical studies to identify and select potential suppliers to be added to the pre-approved vendor list.
  • Review and evaluate quotations from vendor.
  • Coordinate purchasing activities and services based on company’s needs.
  • Monitor process and supplier performance and resolve issues with suppliers.
  • Liaise with restaurant teams on requirements and provide support on delivery issues
  • Monitor contracts and renewal prior to expiry
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the manager.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant procurement experience within the F&B industry.
