Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Review customer inquiries, specifications, or requests for quotes (RFQs) to understand project or product requirements.
• Calculate costs by analyzing labor, materials, time, and overhead expenses.
• Prepare detailed and accurate price quotes, proposals, or bids in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with sales, production, engineering, or procurement teams to ensure quote accuracy and feasibility.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pricing trends, market conditions, and material costs.
• Communicate with customers to clarify requirements or negotiate terms when necessary.
• Use quoting software, spreadsheets, or ERP systems to generate and track quotes.
• Ensure quotes comply with company policies, profit margins, and industry standards.
• Follow up on quotes to support sales teams in closing deals.
• Maintain accurate records of quotes, revisions, and customer interactions.

Qualification

• Proven experience in quoting, estimating, or pricing analysis (industry-specific experience a plus).
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for cost calculations and pricing strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, quoting software, or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
