Job summary

A leading educational institution in Singapore is seeking a warm and dedicated PGPN Teacher to support young children aged 18 months to 3 years. The role includes facilitating daily routines, conducting sensory-focused activities, and building a nurturing classroom environment. Candidates with or without Montessori certification are welcome, as training will be provided. Strong communication skills and a passion for early childhood education are essential for success in this position.

Montessori School is seeking a warm, dedicated, and passionate PGPN Teacher to support children aged 18 months to 3 years. Candidates with or without Montessori certification are welcome — training will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate daily routines and learning experiences for children aged 18 months to 3 years (Playgroup / Pre-Nursery).

  • Conduct age-appropriate activities focusing on sensory play, language development, fine & gross motor skills, and early socialization.

  • Observe, document, and communicate each child’s developmental progress.

  • Build a nurturing, safe, and stimulating classroom environment aligned with ECDA and school standards.

  • Work closely with co-teachers to plan lessons, manage the classroom, and support children’s needs.

  • Engage positively with parents and provide regular updates on their child’s development.

Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (DECCE-T) or ECDA-recognised equivalent.

  • PGPN certification or experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

  • Montessori training/interest is welcomed; structured training will be provided.

  • Strong passion for nurturing very young children (18 months–3 years).

  • Good communication skills, patience, and ability to work well in a team.
