Job summary

A recruitment firm seeks a candidate to handle customer inquiries and provide technical support for vacuum pump and blower solutions. The role involves developing customer proposals, engaging customers directly, and assisting in order administration. Candidates will be trained to conduct product training for end-users. Coverage includes Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries to evaluate the specific application requirements.
• Select and size up a suitable vacuum pump or blower to meet the customer's need.
• Develop customer proposals for vacuum pump and blower solutions.
• Engage the customers via phone calls and emails to follow up on quotations.
• Act as the single point of contact for technical & commercial clarification.
• Support the Customer Service Manager to track, analyze and report quote activities.
• Execute contract review prior to order entry.
• Assist the Order Administration team to create sales order, procurement, shipment.
• Conduct product and application training to end-user customers.

Job description

• Handle customer inquiries to evaluate the specific application requirements. Select and size up a suitable vacuum pump or blower to meet the customer’s need.
• Develop customer proposals for vacuum pump and blower solutions. Scope of work will include pump sizing, matching of spare parts, outsourcing some accessories, costing and pricing.
• Engage the customers via phone calls and emails on a day-to-day basis to follow up on quotations and technical clarification.
• Act as the single point of contact for technical & commercial clarification for customers, contractors, resellers and agents.
• Support the Customer Service Manager to track, analyse and report quote activities; participate in Monthly Reporting process.
• Execute contract review prior to order entry to ensure clean-order process. Evaluate and interpret customers’ specification against our offer. Clarify with customer where necessary to resolve unclear requirements.
• Assist the Order Administration team to create sales order, procurement, shipment and shipping information going back to the customer up to the point of delivery.
• This incumbent will be trained to conduct product and application training to end-user customers.
• The scope of territorial coverage includes Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.
