Job summary

A leading medical centre is seeking a skilled receptionist to enhance their operational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front counter operations, assisting in patient care, and handling administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with possibilities for advancement based on experience and performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in handling insurance and corporate claims preferred.
  • Ability to work 5.5 days a week.
  • Experience in clinical settings a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform receptionist duties and register patients on arrival.
  • Assist doctors during consultations and handle clinical data entry.
  • Manage laboratory specimens and prepare medications.

Job description

Job Responsibilities :-

  • Perform receptionist duties at front counter

  • Register and triage patients on arrival to clinic

  • Assist doctors during consultation including serving as chaperone

  • Perform basic assessment for patient (e.g. blood pressure, visual acuity)

  • Assist with minor procedures (e.g. nebulisers, swab tests)

  • Assist in managing laboratory specimens

  • Prepare and dispense medications

  • Handle all transactions including payments and ensure proper documentation

  • Ensure accuracy of clinical data entry into computer system

  • Prepare submission for corporate and insurance / TPA claims

  • Assist in management of medication and consumables supplies including stock-taking

  • Arrange/book appointments for patients for follow-up treatment and vaccination

  • Daily e-submission claims for different insurance schemes

  • Maintenance of the physical facility of the clinic

  • Perform data entry and closure of daily settlement

  • Maintain filing system, coordinate appointments and other administrative duties

  • Any other duties as may be assigned by Immediate Supervisor and/or the Management

Qualification & Experience:-

  • Must be able to work 5.5 days work week, which includes Mondays to Fridays (full days) and Saturdays morning (half day)

  • Able to work in fast paced environment

  • Team Player

  • Good communication skills

  • Candidates with experience with insurance / corporate claims preferred

  • Additional skills such as ECG and phlebotomy will be an advantage

  • Those with more experience may be considered for Senior Position
