Job Overview
Our client is Global Electronic manufacturing leader who are looking for an experienced Customer Service Executive specializing in Order & Fulfilment to manage end-to-end customer orders, coordinate shipments, support forecast planning, and ensure timely and accurate delivery fulfilment. This role requires strong customer service skills, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Order & Fulfilment Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer order processing, updates, and delivery coordination.
- Ensure accurate order entry and on-time delivery according to customer commitments.
- Coordinate shipments with third-party logistics providers.
- Update customer portals for delivery schedules, rescheduling, and confirmations.
- Manage sample requests, RMAs, returns, and issue related documentation.
Forecasting & Inventory Planning
- Lead demand forecasting together with the Sales team.
- Convert forecasts into shipment and production plans.
- Manage customer stocking programs (VMI/SMI, Demand Pull).
- Monitor inventory levels, supply-demand gaps, and escalat[e] shortages or constraints.
- Review discrepancies across OEM/CM/distributor forecasts.
- Follow up on missing purchase orders and validate forecast accuracy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, and IT to support order fulfilment.
- Participate in sales and operational reviews, providing delivery updates and capacity insights.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and customer-related programs.
- Drive backlog management and prioritise urgent orders.
Process & Operational Support
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual tasks.
- Support ad-hoc assignments as required.
Requirements
Education
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service, order management, or planning roles.
- Experience in the electronics industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory management is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (preferably QAD).
- Strong MS Excel and Word skills.
