Job summary

A community health organization in Singapore seeks an Oral Health Coordinator to promote oral health awareness through patient education and community outreach. You will provide dental and hygiene therapy, treat dental diseases, and ensure the clinic runs smoothly. Candidates must possess a Diploma in Dental Hygiene or equivalent, be registered with the Singapore Dental Council, and have at least 3 years of experience in dental care. Mandarin and English fluency is essential.

The Oral Health Coordinator promotes oral health awareness through patient education, community outreach, and preventive programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treat and prevent dental disease.
  • Ensure smooth running of clinic.
  • Advocate for oral health in vulnerable populations.
  • Support partnership with external bodies and entities.
  • Embody humanistic healthcare values.
  • To provide dental and hygiene therapy.
  • Assist Dentist and other clinic operations.
  • Maintain clinic and back-end work.
  • Assist in the tracking of Objectives and Key Results or Key Performance Indicators.
  • Perform stock-take for drugs.
  • Coordinate team meeting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • At least a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy or a Diploma in Oral Health Therapy.
  • Further qualifications or certifications related to Social Service work will be added advantage.
  • Must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council.
  • At least 3 years of experience in providing dental care.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Able to perform basic operations on Microsoft Excel, Word, Email, and Outlook.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English to communicate with only Mandarin-speaking patients and only English-speaking patients.
