We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Asset Engineer to manage, optimize, and extend the lifecycle of our physical assets.

This role involves developing asset strategies, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating across departments to ensure assets deliver maximum value while remaining compliant with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement asset management strategies and lifecycle plans
• Basic understanding of IT asset types and their lifecycle
• Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and performance evaluations of assets
• Recommend upgrades, replacements, or maintenance schedules based on asset condition
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure proper asset selection and integration
• Use asset management tools for modeling and analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs)
• Perform risk assessments and develop contingency plans
• Maintain accurate records of asset condition, location, and cost
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings or performance improvement
