About us

Swiss-Asia Financial Services (SAFS) provides a dedicated incubation space for Wealth Managers, Funds Managers and Family Offices in Singapore. We have been a pioneer in Wealth Management and Fund Management activities for over 20 years. Today, we are one of the Leading Independent Wealth Management and Fund Platforms in Asia.

SAFS holds a Capital Markets Services (CMS) License under the Singapore Securities and Futures Act (SFA) to conduct regulated activities in Fund Management and Advisory for accredited investors.

Summary

We are looking for a proactive and meticulous Operations Officer to support Fund Managers and manage day-to-day back-office operations. The candidate should have prior experience and understanding of the asset management and/or hedge funds industry.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Primary point of contact for allocated Fund Managers
  • Day-to-day back-office operations (accounting, reconciliation, process wiring instructions, review NAV, investor statements, update database etc.)
  • Assist with the financial audit of funds
  • Other ad-hoc duties (KYC refresher by counterparties, prepare board resolutions, account opening etc.)

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain full log of tasks and activities
  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term goals and objectives
  • Communicate regularly with Team Leader and Management regarding day-to-day matters
  • Implement decisions made by the Team Leader and Management
Role Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  • 4 to 5 years’ relevant experience in Hedge Fund middle and back-office operations (Hedge Fund or Fund Accountant)
  • Prior experience and understanding of the asset management and/or hedge funds industry are required
  • Knowledge of operational technology, best practices and procedures
  • Effective communication skills, ability to manage clients and with high service level
  • Good interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations with clients
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration between staff, clients, peers and service providers
  • Ability to take initiatives and manage allocated projects independently
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks in an accurate and thorough manner
  • Proactive and hands‑on
  • Ability to work effectively in a climate of growth and change

Good to have:

  • Knowledge of Broadridge Paladyne Portfolio Management System
  • Knowledge and understanding of general financial regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of VCC and/or Cayman Islands fund regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of private equity fund
