The Technical & Quality Control Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of effective pest control services while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role involves overseeing the technical aspects of pest management operations, training and supervising the pest control team, developing and implementing quality control measures, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Oversight

• Develop and implement pest management strategies, including integrated pest management (IPM) approaches, to effectively control pests in various environments.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in pest control technologies, equipment, and treatment methods to ensure the team is equipped with the most efficient tools and techniques.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the pest control team in addressing complex pest issues and challenging situations.

Quality Assurance

• Establish and enforce rigorous quality control processes and procedures to ensure consistent and effective pest management services.
• Manage regular inspections and audits program to assess the quality of pest control services, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with operational teams to develop and refine service protocols that align with industry best practices and meet client expectations.

Team Training and Development

• Lead the training and development of PMPs, ensuring they are well‑trained in pest identification, treatment methods, safety protocols, and customer interaction.
• Provide ongoing technical training to enhance the team & knowledge and skills, keeping them informed about the latest industry trends and advancements.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the pest management team.

Regulatory Compliance

• Stay up‑to‑date with Singapore’s statutory regulations related to pest management, pesticide usage, and environmental protection.
• Ensure all pest control activities are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations and that necessary permits and licenses are obtained and maintained.

Customer Interaction

• Collaborate with the sales and customer success teams to address client inquiries, provide technical expertise, and offer customized pest management solutions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, explaining treatment plans, prevention measures, and post‑service recommendations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Entomology, Biology, Environmental Science, or any related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in pest management, with a strong technical background in pest identification, treatment methods, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of technicians.
• In‑depth knowledge of integrated pest management principles, pesticide usage, and safety protocols.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, especially in high‑pressure situations.
