Responsibilities
  • Review and approve material changes to client data.
  • Resolve day‑to‑day complex problems and execute complex transactions for the business unit, including research of internal and external sources.
  • Serve as a control point for key static changes, upholding current policy, for internal users and third‑party vendors.
  • Coordinate implementation of new products/services, procedures, and system/hardware solutions for operational problems.
  • Initiate projects and alternatives to improve operations efficiency, recommending client data changes across a variety of lines of business.
  • Provide statistical analysis and reports.
  • Receive inbound, electronic requests via a web‑based front‑end system to create new clients for the Bank of America enterprise or to change material fields on client data.
  • Research, approve, and/or reject new client or maintenance requests from external systems and business partners.
  • Participate in project work such as data cleanup initiatives and system deployment or upgrades.
  • Assist global production offices in client management, including requests to create or maintain legal entity data.
  • Maintain a business partner support e‑mail box.
Qualifications
  • Background in Operations, Corporate Actions, Client Data, Risk, or Vendor Management.
  • Thorough understanding of the business unit’s operations processes and their implications on other groups within the operations function.
  • Strong research skills and ability to work independently.
  • Clear communication and comfort speaking with Senior Management.
  • Knowledge acquired through increasingly responsible operations analysis work and on‑the‑job training.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Sound reasoning and research skills.
  • Application of knowledge in the research and execution of client data maintenance requests, including name, address, and coverage changes.
