NetworkManager – DataCenter & ISP Infrastructure
Our client is expanding their network and datacenter capabilities and are seeking an experienced NetworkManager to lead the design, implementation, and operation of our world‑class data center and ISP network infrastructure.
About the Role
As the NetworkManager, you’ll take ownership of network architecture across structured cabling, routing & switching, and ISP/BGP operations. This role combines strategic planning with hands‑on engineering work, ensuring the network consistently delivers top‑tier performance, reliability, and availability.
You will lead a team of Network Engineers while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to support customer needs, new technologies, and future infrastructure growth.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Provisioning & Technical Support
- Oversee provisioning of customer network orders and cross‑connect circuits.
- Perform end‑to‑end testing and maintain accurate diagrams, records, and service documentation.
Network Planning & Architecture
- Assess current and future capacity and performance requirements.
- Design scalable, redundant, high‑availability network architectures.
- Develop structured cabling systems (Cat6A, OM4, OS2) and produce detailed schematics and capacity plans.
Cabling Infrastructure Management
- Lead installation, termination, certification, and labeling for copper and fiber systems.
- Maintain proper cable management, inventory, pathways, and documentation.
ISP & BGP Network Operations
- Design and manage BGP architecture for upstream transit and downstream customers.
- Manage AS numbers, IP allocations, IX peering, and routing security (RPKI, ROA, MANRS).
- Optimize routing for performance, redundancy, and cost efficiency.
Network Operations & Security
- Deploy and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network appliances.
- Ensure best‑practice configurations and LAN/WAN integration.
- Implement firewalls, ACLs, segmentation, IDS/IPS, encryption, and ISO‑aligned controls.
Monitoring, Performance & Capacity Planning
- Monitor network utilization, latency, and faults using tools like MRTG, PRTG, SolarWinds, etc.
- Forecast growth trends and recommend upgrades to support future scalability.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a team of network engineers.
- Collaborate across operations, systems, facilities, and security teams.
- Drive incident troubleshooting and participate in 24/7 escalation as needed.
Governance, Vendor & Compliance
- Maintain all network documentation (SOPs/MOPs/EOPs, diagrams, and IP records).
- Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry frameworks such as ISO27001, PCI‑DSS, OSPAR, IMDA, TIA‑942, and BICSI.
