Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN solutions.
- Rack and stack network and IT equipment in data centers or client premises.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices such as switches, routers, wireless controllers, and firewalls.
- Install, configure, and support network operating systems and related hardware/software (e.g., Cisco IOS, FortiOS, Aruba, etc.).
- Conduct routine network maintenance and implement upgrades/patches as needed.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure successful network implementation and integration.
- Document network configurations, diagrams, and processes.
- Perform maintenance activities after office hours or during weekends when required.
- Assist in overall IT infrastructure initiatives and cross-functional technical projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network implementation, administration, and support.
- Strong technical knowledge in configuring and managing Cisco, Fortinet, or equivalent networking platforms.
- Familiarity with network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP, DHCP, DNS).
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
- Understanding of network security best practices and firewall policy configuration.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
