Job description

Responsibilities

• This new role provides fund selection, daily management and recommendations to support our Private Wealth Management business in Singapore.
• Responsible for the review of both traditional and alternative funds as well as ongoing support of funds.
• Provide the Relationship Managers and Investment Consultants with fund recommendations, market intelligence, monitoring and model portfolios
• Provide investment advisory support as well as championing of fund products to both local and regional sales team.
• Work with both internal business units and external asset managers in delivering advisory communications and training.
• Participate in regional funds initiatives and projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience in fund product management, fund selection / due diligence for Mutual Funds
• An understanding of Hedge Funds and Private Markets will be advantageous
• Team player with the ability to work together with internal and external stakeholders in a collaborative manner
• Strong presentational and communication skills, with relevant experience in conducting product training to RM and IC and marketing seminar to Wealth Management customers;
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Pro‑active, self‑starter and goal orientated. Possess teamwork skills such as listening, communication and conflict management;
• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin as the role requires written communication in Traditional Chinese with Mandarin‑speaking colleagues in Taiwan and Wealth Management customers in Greater China.
