Job description

We are looking for a hands‑on, service‑oriented Merchant Operations Executive to support our growing network of merchant partners. This role involves on‑site training, hardware deployment, technical troubleshooting, and logistics coordination. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring that merchants are fully set up, trained, and operational, providing a seamless experience from onboarding to ongoing support.

What you’ll do…
On‑Site Merchant Support & Training
  • Conduct on‑site visits to merchant locations for onboarding, training, and support.
  • Provide in‑person training on systems, devices, and tools to ensure merchants are confident using our platform.
  • Troubleshoot technical or operational issues on‑site, including device setup, network/configuration problems, or user errors.
Hardware Deployment & Setup
  • Deliver and install necessary hardware (e.g., terminals, tablets, printers) at merchant premises.
  • Perform functional testing and ensure systems are working as expected.
  • Maintain inventory of devices and track deployment status.
Office‑Based Logistics
  • Coordinate logistics and inventory management for merchant hardware, including shipping, receiving, and asset tracking.
  • Support procurement and restocking of hardware and equipment.
  • Liaise with warehouse, courier services, or third‑party vendors when needed.
General Operations & Support
  • Act as the first line of support for merchant operational issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, tech, support) for smooth merchant operations.
  • Document SOPs and assist in process improvements.
What we are looking for…
  • 1–3 years of experience in operations, technical support, or a customer‑facing role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident in dealing with merchants face‑to‑face.
  • Good technical aptitude with experience handling hardware setup and troubleshooting.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Comfortable with light physical work (e.g., carrying equipment, installation tasks).
  • Proficient in English; Mandarin‑speaking is a strong plus to support Mandarin‑speaking merchants.
  • Possession of own transport (e.g., car or motorbike) is preferred for hardware delivery and on‑site visits.
