Overview

Mechanical Technician | Up to $2k | 5 Days | Serangoon

Location: Depends on client premises

Working Days: 5 days (include weekend)

Working hours: 8am-5pm

Salary: $1,600 to $2,000 (depends on experience)

Job Purpose

To perform installation and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery at the site, ensuring safe and efficient operations in line with company standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out installation and assembly of mechanical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and standards during installation and assembly work.
• Maintain accurate service records and work reports.
• Support Engineers and Managers on site during equipment buy-off.
• Ensure all work is performed safely, following HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations of both company and client policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in company or client environments for smooth job execution.
• Able to work overtime when required i.e. weekdays and weekends.
• Able to hands-on for sheet metal parts rework, paint touch-ups, sheet metal part alignment during assembly, and reading simple drawings to rework parts.

Qualifications & Experience

• ITE / 'O' or 'N' Level or related trade qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Technician in manufacturing or related industries. Sheet metal environment preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools, like hand drill, tap wrench, rivet gun, etc.
