Role Overview
Lead the delivery of Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) business analysis across complex banking and financial services engagements. Own end-to-end analysis workstreams, ensuring high-quality outcomes across CLM technology implementations, regulatory change, and operational transformation initiatives. Partner with client stakeholders across Compliance, Operations, Front Office, Risk, and Technology to shape requirements, drive alignment, and support delivery decision‑making.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of CLM business analysis across complex banking and financial services engagements.
- Own end-to-end analysis workstreams, ensuring high-quality outcomes across CLM technology implementations, regulatory change, and operational transformation initiatives.
- Partner with client stakeholders across Compliance, Operations, Front Office, Risk, and Technology to shape requirements, drive alignment, and support delivery decision‑making.
- Oversee the definition and documentation of CLM business requirements, business rules, and process designs covering onboarding, KYC/CDD, client classification, and ongoing review.
- Contribute to the design of target operating models (TOMs), process optimisation, and control frameworks across the client lifecycle.
- Provide functional design leadership and testing oversight, including review of test strategies, scenarios, and UAT outcomes for CLM platforms.
- Act as a senior interface between business and technology teams, ensuring requirements are translated into clear, pragmatic implementation specifications.
- Guide integration of CLM solutions within wider enterprise technology landscapes, working closely with architects and delivery teams.
- Support Agile and hybrid delivery models, contributing to planning, backlog prioritisation, and delivery governance.
- Mentor and quality‑assure the work of Consultants and Senior Consultants, promoting best practices in analysis, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Contribute to internal capability development, including CLM methodologies, accelerators, and reusable assets.
Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Banking or Financial Services, including significant experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant with deep Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) expertise.
- Proven experience leading workstreams or small teams on CLM initiatives, technology implementations, or regulatory programmes.
- Strong understanding of CLM processes including client onboarding, KYC/CDD, client risk assessment, classification, periodic and event-driven reviews.
- Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks impacting CLM (e.g. AML/CFT, FATCA, CRS, local and regional regulatory requirements); APAC experience is highly desirable.
- Experience engaging senior client stakeholders and operating with a high degree of autonomy in client-facing environments.
- Familiarity with CLM platforms, utilities, or vendor solutions; understanding of modern technology architectures is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex problems and guide teams toward pragmatic solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong review and quality‑assurance capability.
- Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery models.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop junior team members.
- Consulting mindset with the ability to balance delivery excellence, client expectations, and internal capability building.
