Job summary

An international energy company in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to execute business plans and manage a portfolio of accounts for sustainable profitability in lubricant oils. The ideal candidate should have over 8 years of experience in the oil industry, with at least 5 years in sales and marketing. Proficiency in both English and Japanese is essential for communication with clients and headquarters. This role involves frequent travel to various countries for business.   • Technical knowledge of lubricant oil products and adaptation machines.

Job Description:

Execute business plans and manage our portfolio of accounts to achieve sustainable profitability.

Negotiate and implement sales contracts with our potential customers in Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

Develop sales strategies and relationships for strategic accounts and key market segments.

Achieve high customer/dealer satisfaction through value-added services and customer relationship management.

Timely manage and settle enquiries, disputes, claims and complaints associated with the business.

Liaise with Headquarters (ENEOS Corporation in Japan).

Carry out other duties assigned by Managing Director, Deputy Managing Director and Lubricant & Specialities General Manager as and when necessary.

Job Requirements:

Master degree is preferable.

More than 8 years’ experience in Oil industries especially at least 5 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing of lubricant oil or chemical materials.

Have technical knowledge of lubricant oil products and adaptation machines.

Ability to communicate in fluent English to communicate with colleague and clients well.

Ability to speak and write in Japanese language is required to communicate with Japanese speaking associates and clients, and to report to headquarter managements in Japan.

Frequent travel to target areas such as Hong Kong, Bangladesh and New Zealand etc. is required.

Strong negotiation and analytical skills with a strategic mind.

Meticulous with good communication and presentation skill.

An effective team player who is innovative and forward thinking.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
