A leading manufacturing company in Singapore seeks a skilled maintenance technician responsible for overseeing a preventive maintenance program for production equipment. The role requires a NITEC / NTC certificate, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical, and 2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include daily machine start-up, upkeep of facilities services, and training production operators. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain a preventive maintenance program for production equipment.
• Fabricate jigs and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
• Follow up on repair requests from other departments.
• Log maintenance work orders and equipment checklists.
• Perform daily start-up of production machines.
• Upkeep facilities services like AC and plumbing.
• Conduct scheduled Preventive Maintenance and TPM.
• Train production operators weekly.

Job description

PRIMARY FUNCTION

• Maintaining of all production equipment and plant facilities

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To maintain a preventive maintenance program for all production equipment and plant facilities
• To fabricate jigs and fixtures to augment the manufacturing processes
• To follow up with requests, from all other department within the organization, for minor repairs
• Logging and tracking of maintenance work order, TPM downtime, compressor operation hours, hot work permit, equipment checklists, etc.
• Daily start-up of production and facilities machines
• Upkeep of Facilities services (E.g. Aircon, sprinkler protection system, plumbing, Power & lighting, etc)
• Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance and TPM
• Conduct weekly Single Point Training to production operator

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

• NITEC / NTC certificate, preferably in Electrical / Mechanical
• Preferably 2 years working experience in a related environment
