A leading aquatic safety firm is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure the safety of swimmers at their facility. Responsibilities include supervising pool activities, responding to emergencies, and assisting with administrative duties. Qualifications

• Candidates with no certification can apply; training provided.
• Certification or prior experience in lifeguard duties is advantageous.
• Must be willing to work shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise swimming and pool activities to ensure safety.
• Perform first aid and water rescue when necessary.
• Evacuate swimmers during lightning alerts and heavy rain.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Supervise swimming and other activities in and around pool area to ensure safety of members and guests
• Assist to ensure pool regulations are being followed
• Remain alert to emergency condition and perform first aid, water rescue when necessary
• Help in pool preparation/checks/reporting when necessary
• Evacuate swimmers from the pool to safety during lightning alerts and/or heavy rain causing poor visibility
• Assist Manager in duty planning and other required administrative work

Requirements:

• For full time positions, candidate must be willing to work shifts and weekends
