Job summary

A leading landscaping service provider in Singapore is seeking a qualified candidate to oversee and supervise landscaping works in the oil and gas industry. The ideal applicant should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a diploma in horticulture or an equivalent qualification. Responsibilities include preparing work schedules, safety documents, and providing advice on plant maintenance. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and the ability to work in diverse environments are essential. A class 3 license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in oil and gas industry/work environment.
• Holds relevant workplace safety certifications, including managing work at height.
• Possess a minimum class 3 license (preferably).

• Oversee and supervise all landscaping works within the works area
• Able to work offshore, in oil and gas industry environment
• Liase with officers/management agents with regards to work arrangements, site inspections, meetings, feedback, complaints or any other matters
• Prepare routine work schedules and service reports as well as attend to ad-hoc job request
• Prepare safety documents like permit-to-work, risk assessment and method of statement.
• Brief and execute work according to safety procedures, protocol and guidelines
• Provide horticultural advice on plant maintenance, selection and planting works
• Work in a diverse working environment
• Handle adhoc work request beyond normal working hours if necessary

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in oil and gas industry / work environment
• Minimum Diploma in Horticulture and Landscape / WSQ Advanced Certificate in Landscape Supervision or other equivalent qualifications
• Holds relevant workplace safety certifications, including managing work at height
• Possess a minimum class 3 license (Preferably)
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Good knowledge in plant ID
• Proficient in Microsoft office, Photoshop
• Team player, proactive and independent
