Job description
Introduction

Occupational Health Nurses describe as someone who provides for and delivers health programs and services to workers and worker populations to promote health & wellbeing. The practice focuses on promotion and restoration of health, prevention of illness and injury, and protection from work‑related and environmental hazards. Workplace activities might include health and wellness activities, case management, ergonomics, pandemic preparedness, infection control and others such as travel health.

Your Job
  • Responds to emergency situations and render first aid treatment and medical support assistance
  • Handle case management of occupational injuries and illnesses
  • Responsible for overall technical and administrative operations of the in‑house clinic
  • Partake in Occupational Health Practices; including but not limited to Workplace ergonomics assessment, data collection, health education, etc.
  • Contribute to the provision of training, advice, health surveillance, vaccinations, sickness absence management, investigations of cases of occupational ill health, and other general OH issues
  • Partake in OFA (Occupational First Aid Training) as a trainer / assistant trainer.
Required Qualifications
  • Preferably Registered Nurse (RN / AN). A Specialist diploma in occupational health would be advantageous, although not compulsory
  • At least 3 years of nursing experience; for candidates with hospital experience, Accident & Emergency or Intensive Care Unit experience would be advantageous
  • Familiar in MS office (e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint, PDF, etc.
