Autism Resource Centre (Singapore)or ARC(S) is a non-profit charity organisation dedicated to serving individuals on the autism spectrum throughout their lives. Based in Singapore, ARC(S) offers a range of services and resources tailored to meet the growing concerns and needs of the autism community including the Employability and Employment Centre (E2C).

The team at Employability and Employment Centre (E2C) is responsible in providing a structured programme for job training and job placement for individuals with autism.

As a Job Support Assistant, your Impact and Contribution includes:

  • Implement individualized coaching plans using autism-friendly strategies to help clients succeed in the workplace under the guidance of job coaches, case managers and autism consultants

  • Prepare documents, reports and other communication materials for key stakeholders

  • Provide job training and support at external worksites to help integrate clients in the workplace environment and ensure clients meet work expectations of the employer

  • Develop relevant knowledge and skills through participation in department meetings and trainings

Job Requirements:

  • Min. Diploma or GCE 'A' Levels

  • Able to travel to offsite work locations, i.e. employer work sites, with possibility of more than one location a day

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment

  • Desire to learn about Autism and the passion to help special needs students/adults

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
