Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT infrastructure operations across AWS, on-prem, VMware, and hyper-converged platforms, ensuring SLA compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot complex environments, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Oversee daily IT operations including incidents, service requests, change management, and problem resolution.
- Drive ITSM process setup, Service Desk operations, and ticketing systems based on ITIL best practices.
- Develop operational plans (e.g., engineer schedules, maintenance, patching, audits) to support business continuity.
- Manage capacity, resource allocation, CAPEX/OPEX, vendor renewals, and asset management (CMDB).
- Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure security controls and address vulnerabilities proactively.
- Build strong client relationships, conduct service reviews, and provide regular reporting on SLAs, KPIs, and performance.
- Contribute to project/transition planning in line with Industry 4.0, WOG, and IM8 standards.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in IT, Software, or Engineering.
- 12+ years of experience in IT service delivery management, including projects, vendors, and stakeholders.
- ITIL v3 & v4 certification required.
- Strong technical knowledge in networks, servers, virtualization, cloud, and monitoring tools.
- Experience with government agencies, IM8 processes, and GCC/WOG environments is a plus.
- Exposure to OT systems (e.g., facial recognition, access control) preferred.
- Hands-on, independent, customer-focused, and able to work under pressure.
- Willing to travel on-site (e.g., Jurong Island).
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor management skills.
- Able to work effectively in fast-paced, matrix team environments.
