Qualifications

  • More than 2 years of experience for Engineer role.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable with hands-on operational tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support deployment and maintenance of on-site data centre physical infrastructure.
  • Install, replace, and troubleshoot hardware and network cabling.
  • Manage data-bearing devices in accordance with procedures.
  • Work within a ticket-based system for task tracking.
  • Assist with equipment movement using lifting tools.
  • Support shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Centre Operations Engineer to support daily operations of on‑site data centre infrastructure. This role involves hands‑on work with hardware, cabling, and inventory, while working closely with local and regional teams in a structured, ticket‑based environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support deployment and maintenance of on‑site data centre physical infrastructure
  • Install, replace, and troubleshoot hardware and network cabling
  • Handle and manage data‑bearing devices such as hard drives and solid‑state drives in accordance with procedures
  • Work within a ticket‑based system to track tasks and incidents
  • Assist with equipment movement using assisted lifting tools (e.g. pallet jacks)
  • Support shipping, receiving, and inventory management activities during peak workloads
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Associate Engineer: Up to 2 years of experience in data centre operations, IT support, or monitoring environments
  • Engineer: More than 2 years of experience in data centre operations, IT support, or monitoring environments
  • Able to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken) to support regional and global teams
  • Comfortable with hands‑on technical and operational tasks in a data centre environment
Certifications (Advantageous but Not Mandatory)

CompTIA A+, Server+, or Network+
