Job description

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, execute, monitor, and control various technical aspects of IT infrastructure projects.
• Maintain both on-premises and cloud IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation and prompt resolution of any abnormalities.
• Manage or participate in the setup or upgrade of system/network infrastructure projects.
• Implement and maintain cloud security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements for data structure, availability, scalability, and access.
• Oversee management of software licenses and intellectual property assets to ensure suitability and compliance.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure.
• Comprehensive understanding of both on-premises and cloud infrastructure components including compute, storage, network, security, data, backup, and applications.
• Familiarity with cloud and IT infrastructure operations, including automation, scripting, tuning, and optimization.
• Knowledge of cloud networking and security (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Knowledge of Windows Server OS and Linux OS in a virtual environment.
• Knowledge of VPN, firewall appliances, and network switches/routers.
