Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement IT strategy, policies, and governance aligned with business goals.

  • Lead and manage IT teams covering infrastructure, applications, service desk, and vendors.

  • Oversee IT operations, ensuring system availability, performance, and security.

  • Manage enterprise infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and end-user computing.

  • Oversee application lifecycle management, upgrades, integrations, and support.

  • Ensure cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

  • Manage IT budgets, procurement, licensing, and vendor contracts.

  • Establish and enforce IT service management processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Release).

  • Drive digital transformation, automation, and technology modernization initiatives.

  • Act as escalation point for critical incidents and major service disruptions.

  • Prepare management reports, KPIs, and IT performance dashboards.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

  • Master’s degree (MBA / MIS) is an advantage.

Experience
  • 8–12 years of progressive experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or application management.

  • At least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Technical & Managerial Skills
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, virtualization, storage, cloud).

  • Good understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, and databases.

  • Experience managing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Strong knowledge of IT security, risk management, and compliance.

  • Experience with ITIL-based service management and SLA governance.

  • Proven vendor, contract, and budget management experience.

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2).
