HR Generalist (Singapore)

We are expanding our presence in Singapore and are looking for an HR professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, cross‑cultural environment. This role focuses on HR operations, employee lifecycle support, and day‑to‑day HR administration, with some involvement in local recruitment. It is well‑suited for someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently within a growing renewable energy organisation.

About the Role

The HR Generalist will support a broad range of HR activities for our Singapore office, including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, HR documentation, and coordination of compensation and benefits processes, as well as managing local recruitment needs. This position requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a solid understanding of Singapore labour regulations.

Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with Singapore labour regulations.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, employee data, and documentation.
  • Assist with HR reporting, contract preparation, and HR system updates.
  • Coordinate compensation and benefits processes, including payroll‑related inputs and employee claims.
  • Handle general HR enquiries and provide day‑to‑day support to employees.
  • Support HR projects, audits, and compliance initiatives as needed.
Recruitment
  • Manage recruitment for Singapore‑based roles across different functions.
  • Conduct sourcing, screening, and interview coordination for local positions.
  • Maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for recurring roles.
  • Support employer branding and local recruitment activities when required.
Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide HR support.
  • Collaborate with HQ teams in China to ensure smooth communication and alignment on HR processes.
  • Provide guidance on HR best practices and market norms.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Fields such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or Management are preferred.
Experience
  • 3 to 15 years of HR experience, with solid exposure to HR operations.
  • Familiarity with Singapore labour laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience in recruitment for local roles is an advantage.
  • Experience in renewable energy, energy storage, or technical industries is beneficial but not required.
