Job summary

A local engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Human Resource Administrator to assist with HR functions and administrative matters. This role involves managing the recruitment process, maintaining employee records, and handling payroll and work pass applications. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in HR, particularly in the construction sector, and possess strong communication skills in Mandarin and English. Experience with MYOB Payroll is required, and the ability to thrive under pressure is essential.

Qualifications

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Assist in all human resouce functions and adminstrative matters of the company
  2. Responsible for recruitment process including advertising, interview, selection, on-boarding, etc
  3. Maintain proper documentation of employee records and update MYOB accurately and promptly
  4. Must have payroll administrative experience
  5. WP , SP , EP Work pass application/renewal/cancellation of foreign employees
  6. Incharge of all type of insurance and renewal
  7. Booking air ticket for work pass expiry depart them back hometown.
  8. In charge of all relevant matter for all employees
  9. other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Min Diploma in Human Resource Management / Business Administration
  • 5 years’ working experience in handling full spectrum of HR & administrative roles, preferably in construction industry
  • Possess basic knowledge MYOB Payroll ie Ms Word, Excel etc.
  • Good knowledge of Employment Act, foreign work pass procedures
  • Required Language : English and Mandarin / Good verbal communication skills in Mandarin to correspondence in all feedback and queries of Chinese speaking customer
  • Ability to work independently and with a team. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated and resourceful with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • Resilient and able to work in a fast pace environment
