The opportunity:

Key innovations in our High Voltage Products portfolio include active technology power quality & battery energy storage, eco-efficient switchgear, digital generator circuit-breaker, hybrid and integrated switchgear. Our technology leadership continues to facilitate innovations in areas such as ultra-high-voltage power transmission, enabling flexible smart grids and enhancing eco-efficiency.

In this role as Hub Product Marketing Manager - GIS, South Asia , you are responsible for building product competence within the Hub and defining sourcing strategies aligned with global and local business goals. You will support the sales team in marketing activities and represent the Global Business Unit’s interests in the country. Your role includes developing profitable, sustainable sales across the full portfolio, coaching the sales organization, and implementing Global Business Unit strategies in coordination with local and global sales leadership.

How you’ll make an impact:
  • You will lead pre-sales and value-based selling efforts by introducing new products, meeting customers regularly, influencing technical specifications, and identifying new market channels, gather and share market intelligence and competitive insights with the Hub and GPMM/GPM to support R&D initiatives, while aligning sourcing strategies with the GPG and hub’s business growth plans.
  • You will manage product certifications and pre-qualification/homologation processes, coordinate customer management with GPG and local units, and engage with policymakers to promote new technologies where needed. Additionally, you’ll organize and participate in technical seminars and customer events, while building technical competence in the region by identifying skill gaps and arranging training sessions.
  • You’ll work with GPMM to identify and close market gaps, develop and maintain sales channels, and act as a bridge between factories and local sales teams to ensure effective channel management. You’ll also maintain a market development plan, apply strategic pricing, track market trends, and lead MWO initiatives in collaboration with local units, ensuring proper implementation and feedback to GPMM.
  • You will implement the GPG marketing plan within the hub, including campaigns, roadshows, and customer events. You’ll participate in monthly forecasts, monitor performance by product line, and propose corrective actions to the HUB M&S Manager and GPMM. You’ll also ensure global strategies are executed locally and that the product portfolio is well-represented in the market, while maintaining cost control.
  • You will manage demand generation across all sales channels, oversee the Business Unit’s demand-side budget, and develop sales and marketing strategies with local teams. You’ll also contribute to the budgeting process, including preparing the Order Commitment Sheet (OCS), and represent the Global Business Unit in the local market.
  • You will be leading the High Voltage market for Singapore as added responsibility.
  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
  • You hold a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
  • 8 to10 years of experience in Product Marketing, Business development, Sales etc. preferably for High Voltage Switchgear products.
  • Good exposure in Sales, Tendering, Product Marketing, Business development etc.
