- Supports HRBP in partnering and supporting stakeholders and employees in a proactive and consultative approach on a full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, as well as talent management and development.
- Partner with HRBP and HR Centre of Excellence in the delivery of key HR projects including policy and process reviews, employee engagement surveys, people development programs, change management plans, performance management and promotional exercises etc.
- First point of contact to provide professional advice on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation, recruitment processes, performance management, recruitment and rewards strategies.
HR Policies, Processes and Systems
- Initiate improvements to internal HR processes, systems and communications towards enhancing service experience
- Educate People Managers and employees on policy/system changes and implications, as well as understand and gather their feedback and input
Operational Excellence and Support
- Partner with HRBP on various HR matters (not limited to):
- Support in manpower planning and projection of staff and work with Unit Management on manpower projections, budget and costings.
- Assist in staff performance appraisal, promotion, re/appointment exercises in the communication and collation of documents.
- Collaborate with Shared Services on job postings, and with panel recruitment agencies for all temporary hiring requests
- Liaise with Shared Services and People managers, Grant Administrators to ensure all contracts are timely renewed for staff contract renewals
- Maintain and update Faculty, MSO and Research Staff information databases
- Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions to accelerate the integration of new staff to the unit(s).
- Support staff welfare initiatives in unit(s).
