Why this role
TRS is scaling. We need a hands-on HR Executive who can hire great teachers, keep our team engaged, and professionalize HR while safeguarding a child-centric, inclusive culture.
What you’ll do
1) Talent Acquisition (Teachers + HQ)
- Own full-cycle hiring: JD crafting, sourcing, screening, interviews, sample lessons/auditions, reference checks.
- Run employer branding: careers page, school/job portals, social, campus ties, referral program.
- Track TA metrics: time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, 6-month retention, offer-acceptance rate.
2) Onboarding, Capability & Culture
- Run onboarding process
- Launch engagement rhythms: welcome rituals, mentorship/buddying, recognition/thank-you programs.
- Conduct quarterly pulse surveys and action plans to keep morale high.
3) People Operations & Performance
- Maintain headcount plan vs. budget; advise departments on workforce planning and teacher utilization.
- Implement lightweight performance management (goal setting, check-ins, feedback, reviews, improvement plans).
- Coach managers on conflict resolution, difficult conversations, and team health.
- Own HR files, leave & attendance oversight
4) Compensation, Benefits & Admin
- Prepare offers and contracts (FT/PT/adjunct), verify credentials, and manage renewals.
- Partner with Finance on payroll inputs, CPF, claims, and benefits administration.
- Benchmark teacher rates and incentive schemes; run simple total-rewards communications.
5) Compliance, Safeguarding & Risk
- Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, PDPA data privacy, TAFEP fair hiring, and work-pass matters.
- Maintain HR policies/SOPs (grievance, whistleblowing, harassment, safety).
- Manage investigations, documentation, and fair/progressive discipline when issues arise.
6) Leadership Reporting & Projects
- Provide monthly HR dashboards to management: headcount, hiring funnel, attrition, engagement, training hours, staffing risks.
What you’ll bring
- 5–8+ years in HR/Talent roles; education or healthcare experience is a plus.
- Proven teacher/clinical recruiting or high-volume community hiring.
- Working knowledge of Singapore HR law (MOM), PDPA, TAFEP; comfort with payroll coordination.
- Bonus: exposure to special-needs contexts, music education, first aid/CPR, HRIS (e.g., BambooHR, Zoho People).
