Job Purpose

We are hiring a Mortgage Sales & Service Specialist on behalf of a bank sector client. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the growth of the mortgage loan portfolio by identifying new business opportunities while delivering a high standard of service to existing customers. You will guide clients through the full mortgage journey—from consultation to approval—while fostering customer loyalty and driving loan retention. This role offers strong development potential and a pathway into sales-focused responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales & Client Engagement: Proactively identify sales opportunities and build long-term relationships with customers through consistent follow-ups and value-added service. Focus on both acquisition and retention of mortgage clients.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide dedicated end-to-end service throughout the mortgage process—from application to post-loan servicing. Respond promptly to enquiries and issues to ensure high client satisfaction.
  • Loan Origination & Servicing: Assist customers in submitting complete and accurate applications for both new and existing mortgage loans. Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and service standards.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. credit, underwriting, operations) to ensure timely and smooth loan processing. Attend regular team discussions and upskilling sessions to support performance goals.
  • Progressive Role Scope: Successful candidates will begin with a focus on mortgage servicing during the first year, before expanding into partial sales acquisition responsibilities from the second year onward.
