Overview
The Healthcare Operations Manager is responsible for managing the operational aspects of healthcare facilities or organizations, patient progress, rehab counselling, exercises, manage therapists and patients, review progress, read x-rays, patient education.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Manage the operational strategies aligned with the overall healthcare organization's goals. Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure operational plans support the long-term vision of the healthcare facility.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of healthcare operations.
- Resource Management: Manage and ensure that the allocation and utilization of resources, including staff, budget, and equipment, ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in implementing quality assurance programs to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to operational teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Assist in conducting regular performance evaluations, provide feedback.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including clinical and administrative teams, to enhance communication and coordination of care.
- Emergency Preparedness: Assist in managing the emergency preparedness plans to ensure the healthcare facility can respond effectively to crises or disasters.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Human Biology, Physical Science, Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Sports Science
